OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John D. Doak issued the following statement about the loss of Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma (IIAO) Past President Bud Breeding who died July 19 at the age of 92.
“We mourn the loss of Bud and extend our condolences to his family and friends. Our industry owes a great deal to Bud and I have the highest level of respect for him. In addition to his professional contributions, Bud was proud to serve this country as a World War II veteran. His extraordinary accomplishments will continue to impact the insurance industry and those of us who met and worked beside him.”
“Bud was a hero, certainly one of my heroes,” said IIAO President/CEO Dan Ramsey. “He was a man who served his country and served this industry with a professional demeanor and gracious style that is hard to match. He will be missed a great deal, personally and professionally.”
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28th, at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City.
